Protecting your new WordPress blog should be a top priority especially if your copy is self-hosted.
A common deadly mistake I see around is a hurry to start pulling traffic and publishing articles on a newly installed self hosted blog without taking some necessary security steps. That’s foundation for disaster.
This is part 6 in the series to build a money making blog. If you missed the other 5 parts, here is the front page for a list of contents.
In part 5, we saw how easy it is to install WordPress. As a matter of fact, it takes less than 3 minutes to get a copy installed.
NB: I recommend
Anybody (including you) can create a blog that makes money. Any blog that’s read by human beings can make money. It all revolves round the monetizing strategies in place and a money making blog can generate between $0 and $500 000+ a month. That’s right!
One of the ways to financial freedom and being your own boss is to create a money making blog which will literally open up many channels to make money online.
Who wants to make money blogging?
Most folks have no idea where to look next beyond the oft-referred to but not overly dependable Google Adsense income stream.
Although advertising revenue can be significant over the long haul it is not prospering during your earlier months as a blogger.
You want to build such a name that when heard; everyone will give you a standing ovation or even kneel down.
Well, I don’t know if you can achieve that with blogging judging by the fact you’re not Jesus Christ.
However, what I do know is that you can become a blogger that everyone will love to celebrate.
You can become a blogger that people will always like to associate with knowing you’re a big deal.
Some bloggers think they can fool advertisers. They desperately need money so they do a lot of stupid things to lower their Alexa rank. If you are one of them, I have just one thing to tell you;
– > Advertisers are not stupid!
Advertisers are businessmen. They spend money to make profit. They want targeted exposure, leads, sales, brand promotion, profitable business relationship, etc. They are not impressed by stats. They are impressed by results.
