Anybody can become a successful blogger.
Few bloggers succeed because few bloggers face their deepest fears.
Take those 2 blogging truths to the bank.
Based on spending 15,000 hours of my life blogging over the past 10 years, I know anyone can succeed. No top pro is gifted unlike any blogger, lucky or blessed with talents no blogger possesses, save them. Any one can create content and build connections until going full time.
Poverty begins in mind.
Do you have little money right now? Having little money indicates your mindset, your emotions and your actions manifested this little amount of money.
Do you make virtually no money blogging? Look within. Face, feel and release money fears. I know this feels scary because I had to do it myself. I grew up in New Jersey in the USA. For most of the world, I grew up rich.
But in New Jersey, I likely lived a middle class standard. But most kids I went to school with grew up in wealthy families. Some of their parents ran million dollar businesses. I felt poor compared to them and developed limiting, poverty conscious money beliefs dripping in shame, fear, embarrassment and envy. Guess what? I blogged like a poor person for many years. Struggled horribly.
OK.
A few moments ago, I scanned an audio book review. Simply peep the featured image for this post.
An individual going by the handle of “pat” posted a 1 star review. I immediately realized that:
“The more you give, the more you get.”
This is the amateur blogger mantra, too. Every blogger should live by this statement. Getting does not happen overnight. Getting happens over months and years. But being generous now increases your:
Skilled bloggers with massive exposure gain credibility on a grand scale. Credible bloggers who appear to be all over simply drive traffic, increase profits and eventually go pro. Not today, after 1 day of being generous. Not tomorrow, after 2 days of being generous. Nope; generally, not 2000 hours from now, after 1 year of being generous. But you will go pro because after putting in years of generous effort, the “getting” aspect of blogging takes off in a big way. Good things take time and generous effort.
I had an interesting exchange with a fellow blogger a few moments ago.
He asked to guest post on my blog. Never heard of him. Cold pitch. Never heard of his blog.
I politely informed him free guest posting closed on my blog years ago. I quoted my guest posting rate. He complained about being on a budget and could not afford the rate. He then bandied about the idea of a link exchange.

But for the heck of it, I decided to check my backlinks again today on March 14, 2020. Peep the featured image for this post. Yep; the sheer power of raw blogging generosity wins again. I currently register 54,575 backlinks pointing to Blogging From Paradise. Gaining over 600 backlinks in a 9 day stretch is nothing to sneeze at. But the more folks you help for free, the more you succeed online. Makes perfect sense.
