  • Create an outline including subheadings: One of the simplest yet most effective ways to write great blog posts is to outline your whole content. Fill your article with subheadings so you can easily start writing your articles. Also, make sure to include any references or website links in case if you want to read any further or link to them within your content.
  • Start anywhere: You don’t have to necessarily start writing your blog posts from start to finish. You can pick a subheading of your choice in between and finish. But we can do one thing, compose an in-depth article for any topic that has everything that can help users in solving their queries.       Thanks for the comment anyway. Yes, authority sites are getting top rankings in Google search because most of these sites often create credible and authoritative content on a regular basis.

      They also rank well because they attract a ton of backlinks naturally along with social shares, comments and so on. That’s why it’s better to find low competitive keywords in order to get top rankings. Otherwise, it’s really harder to get first page rankings even if you’ve written excellent articles.

    As you said, it’s essential to research before start writing. And there is no doubt that Google is a go-to-place to research anything. When it comes to content research, I also use BuzzSumo to get ideas of post formatting, title and introduction of most shared content on the web. It’s simple to use. Just type your search topic into the search bar on the platform. The platform will instantly return with the most shared content related to the search topic.

    Interesting points you have here. It makes sense to create evergreen blog content because it gives the reader lasting and compounding value. However, I also want to add that, scheduling a date to update your evergreen blog is critical. Why is that so? One may conclude that evergreen content is always relevant since it was written to provide lasting value. But at some point n time, some information associated with the material may become slightly outdated.
    At this point, you will need to update the content to keep it up-to-date with relevant trends. That is why it is essential to set up a schedule date review and update your cornerstone blog content. And since it is evergreen, your schedule could be once a year or thereabout.
