January 2015 Report ~ Income and Engagement!

The Month of January 2015 was certainly tough. There were general cries all over the globe as some business witnessed a drop in income.

However, while some were yawning and staring at their disturbing financial records, some have been celebrating because business cannot be bad for every body at once.

Engagement on this blog was super exciting. I published 15 awesome blog posts and received wonderful comments from my readers.

I discovered that commentLuv suddenly went crazy and refused to pull feeds and create backlinks for my commentators.  I deliberately did not want to try to fix the issue just to see how it goes without it. I got the biggest positive surprise of the month which was that I got even more comments than last month.

Again, in order to eliminate one-line comment, I stepped up on the minimum amount of words required in comments from 10 to 24. Even at that, I still got more comments.

I’m proud to say here that my readers are exceptional people who know what they want. I value them so much for this!

I did 2 awesome guest posts on 2 of my must-read blogs. The first went live on PowerAffiliateClub where I shared some important tips on affiliate marketing.

The second guest article was published on Donna Merrill’s blog where I continued my journey on sharing actionable tips on how to make more money doing Affiliate Marketing.  I’ll appreciate if you check out these posts and drop a comment.

Income report January 2015: $825.60

This is what I had paid to Paypal. As I write this post, my affiliate earnings for the month of Jan are still hanging in different affiliate accounts. You know for the most part, this is paid 30 to 45 days after sales.

I did not go looking for sponsored posts this month due to lots of offline duties, trying to keep with my posting schedules, replying to comments on this blog and guest articles, doing some serious updates on BroadedNet, etc

I however had 2 proposals through my contact form but I turned them down because of low pay. As a matter of fact, I had no paid posts on this blog last month.

February is coming up with 3 paid posts already scheduled for $700 ($200, $250 and $250). Though these are businesses negotiated in Jan, I’ll like to push the report for February because the jobs are scheduled for that period and that’s actually when the money will be paid in.

Premium Posts: 20+ copies sold at $1.99 per sale!

One exciting thing I started this month was posting premium posts. I know for a start, this may not be something to buy me a car. It can however gradually build up to a serious source of income.

While I’ve sold over 20 copies, sales are still dropping almost daily. My target is at least 10 premium posts this year and if these get well positioned in Search engines, it can constitute a source of uninterrupted flow of money.

Other sources of income

There are other sources of income I can’t mention here for now. I’m just still getting them well organized. Some of my clients including 2checkout pay straight to Bank Account. Others pay to Payoneer using the Us Payment Service.

Looking up to February!

There is no doubt the month of February will be more exciting in terms of income. With $700 almost in the pocket, there is reason to think awesomeness.

I shall also be going out in search of other opportunities. One of the things I will not do is promote products on JVZoo. I don’t know what’s happening but that platform seems to be eating up my commissions.

I will also do more affiliate product reviews. It’s exciting to get paid once from a review post but I think an opportunity to make money over and over from a single post is better.
